Fire Chief Brian Cummings has been with the Los Angeles Fire Department for 32 years.  His father, Louis Cummings Jr, was a 30 year LAFD member who retired as an Engineer in 1977.

Chief Cummings is 53 years old, married for 24 years to his wife Rachael and he has two daughters: 19 year old Shelby a sophomore at USC and 17 year old Hannah a Junior at Cathedral Catholic High School.
